SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND HUMAN RIGHTS
Putting people first goes beyond borders. Our social responsibility is to act in an ethical and sustainable way
everywhere we have operations: factories, stores, our distribution center, as well as our corporate headquarters.
By respecting and promoting human rights, which are the basic rights and freedoms that every person is entitled
to, we ensure the equal and fair treatment of every employee.

TAMIL NADU HOTLINE
“UNGAL KURAL”
Human rights issues surrounding freedom of
movement, wage withholding, illegal recruiting,
access to clean water and child labor have
materially come to light through whistle blowers.
As a culmination of our work with other brands, DXL
was on the ground floor of creating a third-party
direct line of contact for workers in Tamil Nadu (a
region of India that has 7 million factory workers).

We are partnering with the
AAFA to gain the support of
additional brands in both the US
and Europe to roll out the hotline
across all of India.
This hotline has been adopted
by the aqua industry
(shrimp farming).
